If you have concerns regarding your child’s speech, language or reading skills, call us to set up an intake meeting.

The process to get Speech, Language, and/or Reading Services started is easy.

Intake Meeting

All services begin with an intake meeting (free of charge) with the Speech-Language Pathologist and/or Reading Specialist to address client concerns. At that time, we will:

  • Determine appropriate assesments to administer based on concerns
  • Recommend referrals, if needed
  • Review any outside evaluations that have been completed & determine any additional assessments, if needed

Any recommended assessments will be completed at a later scheduled date, after the intake meeting, in a timely manner. Asessments may include:

  • A parent interview
  • Developmental checklists
  • Standardized assessments

Treatment Plan

The assessment report and recommended treatment plan will be discussed in detail at a follow up meeting.
